After much going back and forth and much picking of my friend and webmaster’s brain, I feel compelled to toot her horn. After all, this is my website and I’ll toot if I want to, right?
Jan Verhoeff and I met on Facebook about 2 years ago. I noticed that we were “liking” a lot of the same entries posted on there and so I decided to reach out and see if we could meet for coffee one day. At the time, I was living in Colorado Springs and she in Highlands Ranch.
Since then, we’ve built a professional and friendship based relationship and I love when we can actually sit across the table from each other over breakfast, lunch, coffee or tea and just have some good old fellowship. It has been such a pleasure to get to know this lovely lady and I soon realized what a very intelligent gem she is.
You see, I’m hard-headed and sometimes stubborn too and yes, I’ve just recently realized that if I had listened to Jan all along, I might be a bit farther ahead in the game of life as associated with the world wide web. You see, Jan really knows her stuff… I mean she’s been online 17 years helping others with writing, their websites, design and marketing and so much more. She’s very talented, has a bit of a quirky sense of humor and is just a peach of a gal.
What do you think of my site? Inspirational? Colorful? Educational? I hope so because that is the message I want to portray. It’s my hope to be able to share with my friends and readers great resources (like my friend Jan Verhoeff) that inspire, help and educate as we all go through this game called life.
Don’t know who said this,,,, but thought it witty…… “At the end of the game, it doesn’t matter if you’re the king or the pawn – we all go into the same box…. ” For me, titles don’t matter just that I do my best – living well while helping others and knowing where I’m going in the end.
Wondering what this might mean to you? Leave me a note!
